Honey, Soy And Sesame Salmon

A light and colourful starter with a beautiful aromatic honey marinade.

Ingredients

350g salmon
20g dark soy sauce
40g honey
15ml sherry vinegar
30ml sesame oil
20g toasted sesame seeds

Method

Chef’s Tip: Serve with our steamed lemon broccoli and our delicious Bulgar Wheat for a balanced evening meal.

Step 1

Mix the soy sauce, honey, vinegar, sesame oil, sesame seeds and vegetable oil together in a bowl.

Step 2

Pour into a tray and place the salmon skin side up into the liquid. Leave to marinate for approximately 20-30 minutes.

Step 3

Preheat the grill. Once heated, place the salmon onto the grill and cook for approximately 7-8 minutes or until the salmon starts to flake.
